Reventon - Roof = FUN

A convertible Reventon, what more can you possibly ask for! Well Lamborghini is preparing nine of these super exclusive Reventon Roadster but they come at a price, 1.2 million Italian Euros to be precise. But in this case every single euro will be money well spent in this case!

For that kind of money the Italian supercar manufacturer will be offering razor sharp stealth fighter looks, a massive 6.5 litter 650-700bhp (the exact specs are unknown) engine, minus a roof, looks like it will give a bad hair day to at least nine lucky souls alive today.

If u look at the recent history of Lamborghini, this is what they have been doing since Audi was handed over the control of Lamborghini, they first make an awesome looking racing machine which doesn’t just look jaw droopingly gorgeous but also goes around the track like a Cheetah chasing it’s pray. Then they rip the car out of its roof and make the earlier customers feel as if they have bought a car which looks like as it was used by Flintstone for dropping his kids at school (just kidding heheheee!). But what I mean is that they have made it almost a tradition, why cant they just launch the roadster before the coupe I don’t think that they will lose any of their potential customers. Why shouldn't the first buyer get the better looking car why is it always the one who come last gets the best?

Future Lamborghini?

So the future doesn’t exactly seem to be bright right now! But I am sure that all this slow down and the recession sh*t will be over soon. So in future, that is around 100+ years from now it would be hard to see Lamborghini's being propelled by gasoline engines, simply because there will be no gasoline left.



So what exactly will power the lambo's in future? Well as far as I am concerned I have some plans for them but only the almighty knows that if any of these would work!

1. The best thing would be a mini Fusion reactor it will give more power than we can ever imagine and it will also give more than 10000 miles before any kind of refueling needs to be done. Actually that’s great until and unless we are able to confine all that power inside the engine. An accident of any kind would be capable of destroying entire cities, so better be careful when playing with fusion reactors. Just think about it, it would be fun to have the "power of sun" behind your leather seat naa.

2. Another promising alternative will be fuel cells. Even though they are not exactly powerful and require much more space, the technology is improving at an alarming rate, so much so that we can see future fuel cell lambo's lapping quicker than their gasoline ancestors, but we would definitely miss the opera that breaks our eardrums when we switch on the engine. Well no need to worry because in future a whole woofer system would take care of all the sound including music and the exhaust notes. That would be really fun as you will be able to select your own favorite exhaust note for your car and you will even be able to compose one for your very own Lambo.

3. Alternative fuels like alcohol and biodiesel would be great as they would not ask for any kind of major change in our present infrastructure, both inside and outside the car factory. And what’s exiting is that some of these fuels have much better octane number than gasoline allowing them to develop more power from the same engine without any major modification. It would be the simplest but also the most economical solution for the future.



These are my perspectives of the future and fusion is far from reality, but I am sure that in the near future Fusion will light the bulbs in our homes, so a smaller version may be (just may be) possible for the awesome Lamborghini too!

The all new Murciélago LP670-4 SuperVeloce brings 30 more bhp along with 100kg less than its previous incarnation, this simply means more fun on and off track.

More than all the technical bits and pices it gets a more sharper and aerodynamic profile making it the sexiest Murciélago ever the guys at Lamborghini hae worked hard to earn the legendary SV(SuperVeloce) tag, after nearly 15 years. You can actually order your Murciélago with a bigger and sexier rear spoiler which will give you more downforce and grip or a smaller rear spoiler for lesser drag which would bost your top speed by around 30Km/h(20mph).

The impressive rear end of the SuperVeloce is dominated by a veritably noble, flat and extremely wide exhaust tailpipe and, on the underside, by a two-level diffuser system finished entirely in carbon fiber. The rear light clusters display their signals in that distinctive Y-shape that has been a fixed element of Lamborghini design since the Murciélago LP 640, Reventón and Gallardo LP 560-4. The panel between the lights is made from carbon fiber, while the large intake mesh below expands across the full width of the rear end. Made from thick-walled aluminum, the hexagonal pattern is laser-cut and a Teflon coating provides the necessary heat protection.
